Due to Vertine's strategic position, the most beautiful castles and villages of the Chianti and the renaissance and medieval cities of Siena and Florence are all within easy reach. In the nearby villages of Gaiole and Radda in Chianti (3 and 7 kms respectively) you will find shops with local produce of every kind as well as restaurants and pizzerias. On arrival guests will find at their disposal at our reception a large assortment of pamphlets, brochures and tour guides.

DIRECTIONS:

Coming from Florence on the autostrada A1: take the "Valdarno" exit skirting the town of Montevarchi , following the signs for Gaiole (highway "Chiantigiana SS 408").

Coming from Rome on the autostrada A1: take the exit "Valdichiana", thereafter following the Bettolle-Siena highway in the direction of Siena . Take the "Castelnuovo Berardenga" exit and proceed to Gaiole in Chianti.

Coming from Siena : follow the signs for Gaiole in Chianti, taking the "Chiantigiana SS 408" highway. After about 27 kms you will arrive in Gaiole.

When you have arrived in Gaiole, take the road by the church signposted "Vertine" and you will arrive after about 3 kms.
